12:45 Dry lightning has started a wildland file near the Sheep Creek Ranch in Pine Valley, south of Carlin. High winds driving fire in heavy fuel. 1/4 mile from ranch, running hard. Structures threatened. Resources rolling from Carlin, Eureka and an Air Attack Unit from Ely and a SEAT has been requested from Wells.

I heard the Inyo NF's helicopter flight following with the Forest's dispatcher on a flight to Tonopah late this afternoon. There must have been additional starts further south.

We're currently getting tornado warnings from NOAA now! Severe thunderstorms with heavy rain. Also saw 2 Lassen National Forest Engines heading east to our area on I-80 this morning.
