Where are the others? im locked in on this one. Lots of active comms on VECC FD 3 and the USFS Channels. Brining in more resources. thinking about possible evacs.

They are pulling some of the firefighters off the lines and pulling them back for structure protection. I'm now getting some traffic on VECC Fire 4 (TG 21312) having to do with this fire and I just heard a request over UFA's dispatch channel for them to assign yet another channel for this fire situation.

Bringing engines from Park City and Salt Lake City to fill south end stations.

Fire has jumped the ridge and is moving down into the homes. UFA requesting Draper PD for mandatory evacuations. Requesting full assignments into subdivisions for protection. UFA pulling fire fighters out of the area due to fire baring down on the line. (UFA Tac 9)

There was a bunch of activity yesterday on this. Lots to listen to (almost to much).

At any rate, late in the game 127.475 came into my radar via the UtahAlerts feed. This is what the pilots were using to talk with each other as they were doing the retardant dumps. I have never had an opportunity to monitor that type of traffic so it was a good deal of fun. There are several great shots of the action HERE.
