Will a Uniden 246 carry case fit Pro 83 ?

I don't see why not... They are the same form factor. The only difference is that you might find a hole on the front left side of the case for the 246T Function and Menu buttons, which the Pro-83 does not have. Otherwise, the display, keyboard, power, volume, squelch, antenna and PC ports are all in the same place.
Yes, it will fit the 83.
