Will ARC8 program a RS 2051?

From the things that make you go hmm category.... It seems as though my former life is following me around and previous customers are tracking me down for scanner programming help. So will the ARC8 software program the Radio Shack 2051? They appear to be the same scanner but sam only knows what changes (if any) RS may have done.

No ARC8 will not work with the PRO2051, they look the same but are different scanners, for example different number of channels.

ARC2051 is being developed and we estimate release in July/August.
