Will ISS be in range for me to pick up SSTV for their next broadcasts?

I just saw some good news:

I'm currently in Boynton beach, Florida. My ISS spotter iPhone app says that there are no visible passes for the next ten days. I don't care about visible passes, I just need a pass (or 2 or more :) )close enough to me to pick up the signal. There is a lot less QRM here than when I was in NYC and I've always gotten much better ISS SSTV pictures here.

All the "pass predictor" resources I find seem to be concerned with visibility, not proximity. Will the ISS have any close enough passes to me during the broadcast times for me to pick up the signal?

Thanks

Use N2YO.com and select 10 Day predictions in blue on the right. On the next page that comes up select All Passes.

As for this upcoming event, pay attention to the dates and on/off times. They may leave it on, so one never knows.

Thanks - I should be able to pick up a few images. Not a lot of resources to have to leave my radio running the entire time - Ty 4 advice.

This is always fun :)

The ISS Detector app works really well. Boynton Beach should be a great location for ISS passes.

Ty - I'll check out the app. Nothing yet, but I've got 3 more hours. I'm only using a normal telescoping FM antenna, but I've picked up very good ISS SSTV images in this location with the same setup.

The scheduled broadcast is over and I didn't pick up anything. Ty 4 all the advice anyway.

Although close for ISS means better signal, any pass "within sight" should give a sufficient signal for a good receive system. ISS spotter iPhone app may use a elevation that excludes less than optimal visible passes and/or takes into account (a reasonable thing to do) you will not see eyball visibly passes during daylight.

The iPhone App I’ve used for a couple of years is ISS Detector, it can be set to show all passes or visible with magnitude. You can set the minimum elevation as well. It’s the best app I’ve used, other than a full blown sat tracker.

The ISS repeater is down indefinitely.
