The system you want to receive utilizes simulcast sites. You can read more about the effects of that here. The BCD325P2 was not designed to handle such signals and performs poorly with them. The only compatible scanners are the Uniden SDS100/200. They are priced higher but work. Buying a 325 for this system or any other scanner would be a complete shot in the dark to see if it would work.

I was looking for a scanner to work with the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office ( Hillsborough County (P25) Trunking System, Tampa, Florida ) and came across the Uniden BCD325P2. Before spending that much, I just want to confirm that it works with their type of system (P25 Phase II) and if there's any other choices that are around the same price range. Thanks.
While I have both, a 325p2(purchased in 2016) and, a 436HP(Christmas gift in 2022).

I agree with reply above ^^^. My 325p2 can handle P25 systems that ARE NOT Simulcast. My 436HP can handle P25 systems that ARE Simulcast, but not 100% of the time. I am trying to sell my 325p2. So I can get an SDS100. They can handle Simulcast w/o a problem.

I went the same route - had a 325P2 that was great for many things, but not simulcast. Also had a 436, also great.... but not for simulcast. It was a whole new world when i finally bit the bullet on a Unication G4 and later on an SDS100.

If I went back in time, I'd have just saved up for the right scanner in the first place and had no headaches. It is worth it.

you might get lucky with the 325, due to location.
and you might find a sweet spot somewhere in your house.
you might find a good yagi to point the right way.
i bought a 325 and knew i might have to go to the SDS series of radio.
but i have a wife who wants to listen and the 325 is not great at the house, it is fine around the county.
so we planned on using the 325 here if it worked and outside if it did not and then get the SDS100.
so that is the next purchase. but we could afford both and have a use for both.
i can get costly.
