Will Uniden extend the warranty for the BCD536HP Wifi Dongle ?

Uniden, or UPMan,

Will Uniden extend the warranty for the Wifi Dongle only?

Since many of us can't fully test the Wifi Dongle part, and make sure it works with the Scanner, Apps, etc, or find out the part is defective,etc before the 1 year warranty is up for it.
Some BCD536HP units only have about 6 months warranty left on it.
The "Like New" BCD536HP units currently only has 90 days warranty on them. Some of those Scanners & Wifi Dongle already out of warranty.


Uniden should extend the warranty for the Wifi Dongle part.
Just like how Uniden did it for the BCD536HP scanners with the Headphone jack problem.

Not sure how long the warranty extension should be.
The Wifi Dongle could/should have 1 year warranty after the Siren App is released.


The first BCD536HP batch (Serial 2600 or lower) has 3 year warranty on it due to the headphone problem.
Uniden already extended the warranty for those scanners with the headphone jack problem.

Have been waiting for the wifi features to be released before getting one, but decided to pony up anyway (536) and enjoy it until then, and was wondering the same thing.
