Hey guys, I was just picking up transmissions on the Georgetown tower for talkgroup 60912. It is listed in the database as Williamsburg Co Sheriff's Office dispatch. What are the unit call signs for the WCSD? The unit I heard was 502, I think, and it was a digital transmission. Are they simulcasting?

Second question... there is a new listing in the database for "SCHP Horry Co. Simulcast with Palmetto 800 TG 29328" on 868.77500 pl 156.7, anyone know what that is about?

Thanks, Mike

TG 60912 is mainly used for Williamsburg County Sheriff Office (call signs are from 501 to 520; 501 being the sheriff, down to 520 being the newest deputy) but 2 other agencies in the county also use it for dispatch (Lane & Greeleyville PD), and Hemingway PD also uses it to transmit to dispatch when not on VHF.

Sheriff unit callsigns are 500's, and C units for civil, I units for Investigators, N units for Narcotics
Lane PD uses L prefixes
Greeleyville units uses C prefixes starting at C15 for chief
Hemingway PD uses 200 numbers starting at 201 for chief

This TG is digital but didn't know that it is transmitted on G'town tower unless it just started.
