Good Updates

Thanks again, and thanks for the clarification of the alpha tags. Kinda makes sense that LE is Law Enforcement --should of known that one duhhh. So does anyone know how long the old WILCO system will be in place, I am still hearing new TGID's come up there?

Gary --- quick question do you guys have any ham volunteers work at the OES? Used to participate a little in that back in California.

The analog system will be up, at least to a minimal level, into March - Round Rock Fire has yet to implement a fire station alerting system to replace the one they've been using on analog (no solution on digital).

Williamson County ARES provides support in our EOC during activations. Over the next few years, I'd like to get SKYWARN much more integrated into our operations, and potentially a Red Flag Fire Patrol using ARES, but those are off into the future.

I'm having a problem with the HazMat Med Channels. HZM Med1 conflicts with DECON 3. HZM Med 2 - 4 also appear to have some conflicts with each other. Can we confirm the TGs for HZM Med 1 - 4?

Thanks,
Russell

FYI, Easy, West and Cent Disp is the FD dispatch for the FD's dispatched by WILCO...it is not EMS dispatch.

Also. North ops, South ops, East ops, and West ops is what the EMS units will use instead of the Helo ch's Helo 1,2,3, 4 are back to good ol' helo ch's for LZ only.

They're all "active" - just a matter of when the first transmission occurs on any given talkgroup.

I'm seeing lots more affiliations. Users are switching to these TGs, doing radio checks and saying things like "I'm up on digital". :)

Ah, that might be it...I was thinking they were contables. 4329 sounded like Pct.1...traffic about stuff in Round Rock but not RRPD.

gre500, what sites do i need to check for wilco 101 and 120 are all with austin cc channels

Use site 120 for for exclusive WilCo traffic. You might catch units that ride the county line or venture into Travis County by adding 101. Currenty, only 101 is listed as 120's neighbor.

Beaky's right.

Go Beaky! Since the old system had 5 TGs listed for contables, perhaps that block from 4328 to 4333 (6 groups) is assigned to constables on the new system.

Now we have to figure out where County PDs and the Public Safety TGs went. I think I caught LH PD on LHPD Talk, so there is still lots to find.

4550 is encrypted all the time, could this be Leander PD?

You know, I was wondering if Leander PD switched over. I bet they might have stuck with their VHF P25 Digital encypted system...I could be wrong....

I was wrong! I just talked to a source on the West side..they are goin' to switch at some point and they will remain encypted.

Hey, are any of y'all listening to the new Georgetown FD VHF page out ch.? I'm trying to figure out the PL...with no luck.

Maybe it is DPL? Some departments won't even put a PL on their page out channel, since pagers don't use PL or DPL.

A couple of questions please --- So does the encrypted channels have the ability to swithch between encrypted and non encrypted, or are they 100% dedicated, and secondly did anyone figure out the allocations /TGID's for the WILCO area Contstables?
