Hey, are any of y'all listening to the new Georgetown FD VHF page out ch.? I'm trying to figure out the PL...with no luck.[/COLOR]

Doing "PL Sniffing" with a '396, shows to be 67.0. I've programmed that into the stored channel and its working.

Time for a new scanner.... I wish we would have arranged a WILCO group buy on the Bearcat bcd396t. I noticed Georgetown is still dispatching on analog, and that's about it. My old Bearcat is a paperweight now, unless listening to the Brushy Creek MUD all of the sudden becomes enjoyable.

Are Georgetown and Cedar Park both still on the analog system? I know I've heard GT PD on the digital side, did they move back?

OK, I see Cedar Park PD is still active on the old system, but I see Georgetown using the TGs on the digital side. When is CP PD supposed to move?

Thanks,

I was referring to GT Fire. I know they're still dispatching on Analog, well they're probably simulcasting. I do not hear CP, RR, or any one else dispatching on the old channels though.

Ha....weather is right here in Navasota! Picking up both 2A0E and 13E, 859.9625 and 860.9625 respectively. Got RRPD, GTPD, WCSO and WCEMS. Nothing that hasn't been posted yet though :(

What TG is Cedar Park Fire dispacthing on? I did not see a reference to it on this forum or in the database. I know the old TG on the old system.

Thanks Gary!

Well, for now Georgetown FD is having to simulcast (Dispatch only - tones and info) over VHF, old 800 and new 800. Soon GFD will just simulcast VHF and new 800. The reason they still key up on the old "48" TG is the stations can not sleep at night with out it. The VHF needs some fine tuning to get it all set up right. When it is all set then radio shop will remove the old 800 analog radios (or in some cases the station will move banks to the new digital banks) and the station speakers will be hooked up to the new VFD station "paging" radios so during the day and at night the station can hit the "good night" button. During the day the officers and driver shall carry voice pagers because no pages will go over the digital system as they are now (the tones sound weird to say the least!) It will be just like WCEMS...page on UHF and talk on 800D...

Not many updates this week, especially after the major update of Fire and EMS TGID's last week ... does anyone have any TGID updates for WCSO and Constables?

Thanks W5 --- I've heard a lot of activity on 4329 and 4328 over the week, I think its some form of LE but have no idea on who. I guess the ID's will shake out some time...

Is there an updated page with the comprehensive list of Wilco frequencies? The following page looks like the old talk groups and frequencies. http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=2768

Most Williamson County cities and agencies are on the Austin/Travis/Williamson/Middle Rio Grande system listed at the top of "Trunked Systems" at the link you referred to. There are some straglers. We are keeping the old system in the DB without change for historical reference and will (some time in the future) remove it from the listings but still keep it "in tact" and without changes. We do it this way so we can refer back to the listing after the system is no longer in use.

OK thanks. I could never hear it when I lived up there (Round Rock) and wondered since all the TGs are only public safety which were on the other system.
