Wilmington ILL PD changes to Wescom

Today im hearing Wilmington PD dispatched now by Wescom on a simulcast of 155.31 PL118.8 and 158.85 PL 88.5....Also hearing the Village of Elwood FD now dispatched on wescom FD South freqy 154.7475 PL91.5....Ron in Joliet

wow, they don't mess around, do they? It was just a few weeks ago they voted to do this!

Yup, looks like the work load is on the increase for Wescom, on 158.85 they simulcast four towns, using 3100 for Braidwood, 5100 for Wilmington PD call #ing, heard them laughing yesterday as they got them mixed up....Channahon-400, Shorewood 700....Need more text on the scanners...Starcom sounds excellent now with no leaves on trees on 996XT and RS197....
