I'm going to start monitoring WEMA, I figured they used the alpha bravo charlie channels based on area. Does anyone know which areas use which channel?

Also if anyone is willing to give out their pager tone out codes, I'd like to set my scanner to only monitor when station 3 and 4 get toned out.

WEMA Information

Alpha repeater is located on Jennings Knob off Sparta Pike, Southeast of Lebanon. All stations monitor this channel at all times. Tones go out over this channel & units in service, or not on a call, monitor this channel. If you just want to hear calls going out, monitor just this channel.

Bravo repeater is located on Mount Defiant, south of Watertown. Stations 2 & 7 uses this site, along with 8 sometimes.

Charlie repeater is located on Franklin Road, in close proximity to Wilson Central High School. This is an optimal site for the City of Lebanon, south-central & southwest Wilson County due to topography. Stations 1, 5 & 6 use this site regularly. Several public safety agencies use this tower for repeaters, along with the now operational TACN P25 Gladeville site.

Delta repeater is located atop the hill near Willoughby Station in Mt. Juliet. Stations 3 & 4 use this site very often, and sometimes 5 or 6 may use it as well. Downtown Nashville can be viewed atop this tower, giving units in Nashville good communication back to Lebanon, but Charlie does well too. Several public safety agencies use this site for their repeaters. Also, if your wanting to keep up with WEMA stations 3 & 4, just monitor this repeater.

During structure fires or critical calls, the national VHF Tactical channels are used by almost all stations & shifts. Incident commanders monitor the operations on simplex, & relay important information to dispatch on repeater. So, it's highly unlikely you will intercept V-Tac scene traffic unless you're close because of those frequencies being narrow-banded, low power & simplex.

All of this information & site coordinates can be searched on the FCC's database. Calls are dispatched on channels that are geography close to the calls - no simulcast is used for now. I don't have station tones, but hope this helps you know how they work.

Does anyone know how they communicate with MJFD on runs station 3 goes on with them? Isn't MJFD on 800mhz? Seems like interoperability might be difficult.

Mt Juliet uses apx7000 and apx7500 dual band radios. So there is no issue with interoperability. They aswell as wema go to vtac channels on scene

The do have interoperability. FDMJ is on the Nash/Metro 800 P25 Phase I system, but theres also a Vhf Patch of their talkgroup. Its a simulcast. So, as traffic comes across TGID "9F5", it also comes across 155.00250(D565). the FDMJ apparatus also have a vhf radio, so they monitor the wema freqs. When a call goes out within the city of Mount Juliet, Both FDMJ Station 1 and Wema get the run. WEMA Medic-101 is stationed at FDMJ's Station 1 on Belinda Parkway. So Medic-101 and MJ Squad-103 often get out and on sccene at about the same time. If the run is up north a bit, Squad-103, Engine 31 & Medic 31 all respond. If a scene requires coordination between the two agencies... Mount Juliet Dispatch has the ability to turn on a patch which links WEMA-Delta and TGID 9F5. it isnt done often, but it can be done.
