Win 96 question

How do I download Win 96? I know I need the programming cable from RS, but that's about it. Do I download it from a website into the radio? If so, then what? Does it take care of itself or do I then need to program the radio itself again? Any help is appreciated. I have been a scanner listener for many years, but am not very computer savvy.

Go to http://www.starrsoft.com/software/win96/default.asp
and download the program.

The program resides on your pc, not in the scanner.

The scanner "uploads" a file containing the data that you put into it into the scanner.
