I trying to take this step by step and not having any luck. I'm trying to use Win4T and the packet out of my PCR1000 to decode the control channels but when I try it just says DECODING in the lower left corner and displays no information. I using a 2-level data slicer and Win2000. I thought the packet output on the PCR1000 was the discriminator tap. Has anyone had any expericence with this setup?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try checking the "invert" box in T4Win. It's in the "Receivers" tab where you configure the radios.

trunkpcr ver 7.175 and t4win

Jay Bray Has came out with a new version of trunkpcr and works great for EDACS.I installed t4win just to try it out and I see nothing at all.I had tried all different configurations to include running straight to my soundcard and noting at all.I would least expect to see some kind of activity in the water fall screen down at the bottom right corner of the screen but nothing at all.
I wonder what am I doing wrong? :?

Remove the audio cable, then plug it back in. You should see the green oscilloscope display trace line jump each time you make / break contact. That at least tells you that you've selected the correct input. Next step is to figure out how to set the appropriate amplitude. Some sound inputs have a volume adjustment in the form of a checkbox for "all or nothing" +20 db gain, others have a slider control for variable gain. Still others have nothing at all.

Once you get a recognizable signal into the computer, you should be able to toggle invert for correct signal polarity.

Sorry for the long delay in replying. I have t4win working now.
I am not using a data slicer but the program is working excellent. I am running from my discriminator out to my sound card line in.
I am using t4win with TRUNKPCR at the same time.

Thanks,

Glenn
