Does anyone know how to program text display for radio id's with the win500 software? Even though one of the fields is "enter group or radio id number", its not working so there must be a step I am missing.

in win500
the same field you would use to program talkgroup IDs is where you will alphatag
your radio IDs.
so it would look like this,,
12345---Local PD1---Group---56789------for a talkgroup
12346---PD1 Mob1---Private--09876------for a radio ID
this mke sense?

OK, I guess I am still having a problem here. It looks to me that I need to know how to change it from group to private.
