Pro-106: Win500 Virtual Scanner Error

Trying to program (both upload from scanner and download from computer) a Pro-106. I have no problems uploading from the scanner or downloading from the "current configuration." However, when I try to do these tasks from the Virtual Scanner mode to load multiple configurations at one time by clicking the "refresh button," it says "Received an error message from the scanner. Retrying the operation may be successful." None of the Virtual Scanner configurations will load from the scanner nor will anything upload from the computer back to the scanner. What am I doing incorrectly for this not to work? I have been able to make this work in the past, but for some reason it all of a sudden decided it wanted to cease working. Suggestions?

The virtual scanner mode means the radio is running through the software. Hence, you cannot perform other functions while the scanner is engaged in Virtual mode.

What program are you using to up/download?
Using WIN500, click on "Scanner", then "Virtual Scanner...."
You can then select a virtual scanner to upload to or download from.
