Hello all,
I recently purchased this USB-Serial adapter: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10311&cs_id=1031104&p_id=2276&seq=1&format=2
It bought this in the hope I would be able to program both my 396t (which it works) and my Pro 95 from my laptop.
I constantly get 'failed read-back test' and nothing else. I have checked the com port, both set at com 4, the computer set at 9600 bit speed for communication.
Anyone have an idea of the problem?
My cable works fine from my old computer, but when I hook it to the serial adapter is when I have my problem.

EDIT: After doing some old thread research, I am guessing my cable is probably not compatible with the scanner. Thanks anyway.
