win95 errors

I have a pro-95 scanner and am using the win95.exe software. I can upload files into the scanner just fine but when I try to download the data from the scanner it reads it then at the end it comes up with this error.
"the received data contained errors" Anyone know what the problem could be. It as worked fine before but lately it does not want to work. I have tried the different config options in the program as well. any idea's ??? Maybe I just have not got it right yet.
