I downloaded the STARS sites and talkgroups from the Radio Ref database using WIN96 Ver 1.53; however, we just came through Richmond today.....all the Henrico-Chesterfield-Richmond TRS freqs worked but VSP was silent except on 159.000 and 158.985 conventional.....I noted the RR database shows the table below....

Site numbers above 100 are confirmed site IDs.

Frequency Table:
1: Base: 762.00625 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
2: Base: 136.00000 MHz, Spacing: 2.50 kHz
3: Base: 146.00000 MHz, Spacing: 2.50 kHz
4: Base: 156.00000 MHz, Spacing: 2.50 kHz
5: Base: 166.00000 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
6: Base: 136.00000 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
7: Base: 161.59375 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz

Am I supposed to also do something with these freq and spacing with WIN96 software to get the STARS VHF system to work? I noted MOT 3600CC and MOT 9600CC are checkmarked "Normal" Appreciate any tutorial help......

It should be 9600 baud multi-table. At this point, all the STARS frequencies are coming from tables 3 & 4. If you look through the STARS thread, you'll see what to put in the tables. In fact, that thread has files already there which contain the proper tables.
