I am trying to enter standard marine band frequencies and in some cases the program will not take them. For example, when I try to put in 156.2 (Marine Ch 4) it comes out as 156.2025.

Is this something to do with maybe 156.2 not being valid in the US... I am not sure if that channel is used in the US but it is elsewhere. This is happening with other channels as well. Any thoughts on how to get around this?

Marine 4 isn't used in the US. The reason it keeps changing to 156.2025 is because the US bandplan steps are 7.5 kHz on VHF due to narrowbanding, and 156.200 falls on a 5 kHz step.

I'm not familiar with the PRO-97 or WIN97, but is there a way to change the steps or band plan so that VHF uses 5 kHz instead of 7.5 kHz?
