MURS & aviation stuff

Balloons can also show up on MURS or maybe even some of the more common business itinerant channels. There are also a slew of off-the-shelf radios that hit the 467 MHz business stuff.

Aircraft freqs in the flight instruction/aviation support category can fill the bill:
123.300
123.500
121.950
122.850
122.775

Multicom freqs are also a possiblity, although I'm not sure how appropriate they are legally:
122.850
122.900

121.925-123.600 is generally a good range to search in the airband for anything specialized.

we didn't get a chance to go this weekend. but thanks for the info. we did go to a farm that has a corn maize, animals and a pumpkin patch. we saw quite a few people with FRS/GMRS radios. I turned Close Call on and heard a few people. nothing worth noting though. :)
