If you are looking for 'minimums', then they should fit your needs fairly well. They tend to work satisfactorily on UHF, not so satisfactorily on VHF, and are not worth having on HF. Notice that they sort of follow the 'size' of antennas for shorter frequencies? Meaning that if you are looking for an antenna for UHF you stand a better chance of being satisfied than for longer frequencies. The 'biggy' is the size of the capacitive 'pads' that hold that antenna on. They amount to the plates of a capacitor, and larger capacitors are needed for lower frequencies. At HF, the required capacitor would averager that the window you'd stick it to.
Good luck.
