Hello

When i have my feed broadcasting through WME, and try to open an application or an internet page, my WME sometimes will stop encoding and i will have to go back in and click start again. I have my bit rate set to 19 kbps, which people say is the best setting. Is there any way to configure of fix this problem of WME stopping by itself?

Thanks

This is also the reason i dont have my feed broadcasting 24/7. I shut it off at nights and while i'm at school or gone for long periods of time because if it disconnects, i'm not there to connect it again. So if there was a way to fix this problem or whatever, I'd have my feed broadcasting 24/7.

Are you really sold on using WME? You may have better luck running shoutcast. If you don't expect to have many listeners you can download the server software and then run a stand alone encoder to send the data to the server. Listeners would then connect to the server to hear your feed.

Another option would be for you to team up with Gordon at Scan America. You can use Edcast to send your audio to their server. Then it wouldn't matter how many people were connected as it wouldn't use up any more of your available bandwidth.
