Hello All!
I running Vista 32bit on my laptop. I am using ScanControl Pro edition to program my Uniden scanners. Now the previous version, opened up right away as do all my programs. When I upgraded to the Pro-version, the computer asks me for permission to grant acess. Now I realize that this is because I have the user accounts function on. When I disable it, the ScanControl software opens up right away like the rest of my programs. However, disabling the user accounts function will leave the computer vunerable should some malware or bug get through my Maccafee firewall. Can anyone help me with this? Is there any way of getting vista to recognize this program? Even the support people cant find a fix for this....I am running the program in administrator mode.
