Rick,

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but everytime I start Unitrunker second it changes my Windows XP desktop screen resolution from my preferred setting of 1024 by 768 pixels to 640 by 480 pixels. I can reset the desktop properties but I have to do it everytime. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I have a graphics icon on my taskbar. And I have set a scheme on that item when something changes that all I have to do is click on the scheme I want and it will reset. Seems to be the best way around this problem.

Hi Dennis;

You're the first.
Are you running full screen or an actual window? If full screen, Windows may not be restoring to the correct video mode. This may also be a quirk in the video driver. Check for driver updates.

If you are running inside a window, I am guessing that Windows XP is switching video modes to accomodate the default font for a console window. The default font is something you can change. Right-click on the top-left corner; select "Properties"; and select the Font tab. Try different fonts ie. raster vs. True Type.

Rick,
Thanks for the prompt response. Just to make sure I'm explaining my situation clearly: Unitrunker second window display is fine. The problem is my actual Windows XP desktop display with all the icons, task bar, etc. that's being changed everytime I open Unitrunker. It's only a problem when Unitrunker is running. After I close the program all is fine.

That's weird - new to me. Does it happen when you open an empty command window? Try opening a command window and then changing the screen area to 80 by 48. That's about all UniTrunker does - it should not impact the desktop at all. Please let us know if you find anything interesting.
