I have this program that sometimes run next to the clock, I cannot find the process but when clicking on it this shows up and everything inside of it is blank.
Not sure what it might be either but you can try to remove it by clicking on start and then in the run command box type msconfig and then go under startup and uncheck those boxes that show and then restart your pc to see if they show up again. This is not totally removing it, Its just prevents it from starting up in the taskbar when you start your computer. You will have to do some trial and error if you are unsure what it might be or you can uncheck them all. The ones I would not turn off would be your antivirus software and anything else that says intel. If you go in safe mode it also does the same.

Yes, thanks for this information.
I know about the commands with windows and know a but about registry but before I go that route was hoping someone else had this going on. It appears to be a program called installshield and it helps update programs but do not see the actual program via C://program Files. I think it might be built into Windows as this is Xp home and a XPS Dell. I appreciate your advice Michael B.
Install shield doesn't run on its own. It's obviously starting up with windows and trying to install something and not working correctly.
The easiest way to remove, disable, or figure out what it is, is to run Ccleaner (portable version which doesn't install it self). http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds
Go to Tools > Startup and you'll see everything that starts up with windows. From there you can disable it.
