WINDSOR, Ontario (AP) — A police officer in this city on the Detroit, Michigan border has been put on administrative duties after he had an intimate conversation over a police scanner.
Windsor radio station CKLW says police began investigating after the audio of the conversation was posted on YouTube. The posting was titled "Windsor Police Booty Call."
Staff Sgt. Ed McNorton says the department's professional standards branch will probe the officer's conduct and determine if he misused police equipment.
He says the woman on the other end of the conversation is not a police officer.
The posting was removed fromYouTube Friday, but it was reposted later in the day.
