I was scanning around today and came across a tone out on 149.440Mhz followed by local EMS station dispatches. It was a nice surprise since I can't listen to them on my Yaesu FT-60R HT due to them being on Fleetnet, but this simplex frequency will let me hear the odd dispatch. Forgive me if this is old info since I'm just getting back into scanning after being away for years. If this is one still in use, does anyone know of more for this area? I heard dispatches to EMS stations in central windsor and even lakeshore so far.

I did notice according to Industry Canada's listing it belongs to WINDSOR METROPOLITAN HOSP 1995 LENS Her Majesty The Queen in Right of The Province of Ontario (GMCO).

It's a provincewide paging channel generally used by the local dispatch centre to page the crews at the bases.

If you check the database, you'll find it listed under the provincewide page.

Thank you Mike,

I'll search the database here more often. Still so green and getting used to all this again so sorry if I post things that are already known. Will try to look harder before asking questions. I wish I kept all my old listings I wrote out and printed out. Unfortunately, I have to start from scratch again.

Thanks Mike, I neglected to check out the Province wide stuff since it was a bit tricky to find in the programming software I used. So I added a lot of the stuff in the province wide listings for many different departments and locations. Radio Reference is such a goldmine of information.
