Wings Over Wayne is scheduled to be held at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro NC May 3-4, 2025. While scanners are not allowed according to the Airsow FAQ there are many places off base to watch the action and listen in. Below is a list of scheduled performers and frequencies (all frequencies are from previous years and should be considered possible/unconfirmed):

Air Boss 126.250/370.875
KC46/F15E Flyover 301.125
T-6 Warbird Formation 122.675
Precision Exotics ---
RV-8 Full Throttle 136.700
Pitts Rooster ---
Tom Larkin Mini Jets ---
Franklin's Flying Circus ---
T-28 Trojans ---
DH100 Vampire ---
MXS Rob Holland 122.125
F15E/T38 Pyro 301.125
C-17 Demo Flight ---
Thunder Birds - See RR database

If anyone has any frequencies for the missing aerial performers I'd greatly appreciate you sharing them.

Most base comms are encrypted, however flightline and FD are in the clear. There may be more in the clear during the Airshow and the system is listed in the database for anyone wanting to listen in.

As a final note, for those interested, you might also monitor the VIPER Statewide Events channels being used for traffic control.

Altho Scanners not being allowed onthe Flight Line is common, I've always planned to set-up in the parking area and Scan to my hearts content (YMMV) - Water/Food etc

Unfortunately, with the need to be inside with credentials, and the parking situation, that was not an option.

I would imagine if you're just interesting in just listening to comms, vice going to the show, you could set up in the parking lot of McCalls BBQ or Wilber's BBQ located near the intersection of US-70E and NC 111 just east of Goldsboro. Those two sites are pretty much in the flight path of the NE portion of the runway. When you're at Wilber's; just looking across the field, you can see the end of the runway. There are several roads south and north that dead-end on the sides of the runway, but from my experience years ago, if you're parked there, the AFB Security will usually stop by and ask you to leave. If you don't leave, they'll notify the local County Sheriff's Department or City PD to come by and ask you to leave. In the past, I took the first request and left.

Those roads, in years past as well as this year, are actually closed a ways away from the fence line unless you live on the streets.
