I just purchased this radio and is currently in transit, I have purchased with the Wide FM option and the Pro demodulator.
The decision to buy this radio was after a lot of research, I liked RadioJet but it only covered HF, Icom radios such as the R7000 and R7100 are getting old, the R1500 & 2500 were tempting but sensitivity/selectivity were poor. The G305e with the Pro demodulator had me hooked, being able to vary the bandwidth from 20Hz to 25Khz (IIRC) is excellent, I am also going to purchase the "Virtual Sound Card" option, this is the answer to an earlier thread I started about a radio connected via Dream software.
One thing I don't like about the G305e software is the color scheme, green/gold/orange is just so awful, does anyone know if you can change the color scheme?
Are there any third party radio control software for the G305e?
