Winsted Police

So after several years of listening in the Bradley Airport area I'm back in Winsted and am noticing that the police department is now using Litchfield County Dispatch, as I remember Torrington was when I was last living in town.

I've also noticed that officers are always identified as either 81 or 82. I'm quite sure there are more than 2 officers in the department, wondering if anyone knows the significance of this?

its A1 and A2, sometimes A3 as well.
A2 is north, A1 is south, A3 is central. Each officer also has a badge number which they will sometimes use.
