winston salem-forsyth silent

i read where someone was having trouble with statesville p, d. going silent. i have a home patrol-and i experiance this out of forsyth-w. s. it will go silent for a few days-then suddenly reappear as strong as ever.i have upgraded the data base onto the scanner-same results. any suggestions?? thanks

I believe they rotate control channels.

And make sure you have all control channels in your scanner. That would be the one red one and the three blue ones.

i should have all control channels. i updated my home patrol-dont know what else it could be . thanks for the help
