Winston-Salem P25 system update?

Good afternoon! I noticed that W-S is getting a new system (finally) and I was wondering if there has been any update on this? I know its estimated up time is May but I was wondering if anyone knew if the talk groups would be phase 1 or 2?(I know it shows phase 2 but sometimes they still use FDMA talk groups) or if anything will be encrypted? Thanks!

Right now, sporadic voice testing is the only thing that can be heard (FDMA and TDMA) on TGs 1, 2, & 3. Encryption will likely happen with some TGs, but it will be at each agencies' discretion.

Yeah I pray that it will not be fully encrypted because that would suck!
