Try 46.520 for Mine Hill and 45.440 for Parsippany. Not sure of PL's.

Sussex Borough is listed in the DB.

In West Orange you'll have to monitor the trunked system, talk group 08-041.

i know they can provide funny & timely real time road condition info. but to me listening to dpw frequncies is a snooze. also, when they share the frequency with the fire dept. that can be just plain dangerous.
"truck 6 you wanna go over and plow 6th street and don't hit old lady mcfarlanes mailbox again".
meanwhile same frequency "we have a working house fire on 1st. ave". firemen trying to respond, and dpw base is still talking about the friggin' coffee run. "you want a buttered hard roll with the coffee ?".

How about the State of NJ DOT low band freqs? I am hearing them on 47.40 working I-295 in South Jersey.

Here are the NJDOT simplex freqs:
47.260 F-1
47.140 F-2
47.360 F-3
47.400 F-4

Voorhees Twp. NJ uses 45.70 simplex for it's trucks.

Camden County uses 500.3125 Repeater PL 114.8

For the Turnpike and parkway (NJTA - NJ Turnpike Authority) they use a 220 Mhz passport trunked system. I am feeding it online right now. See my thread

Jersey City snow plows are handled by the Incinerator Authority. Their VHF system is a 155.085 repeater with pl tone of 114.8 but they have a few talkgroups on the JC Digital UHF Trunk System. Their dispatch talkgroup is 4001 and that is where you find the plow drivers and inspectors.

Gloucester County snow plows are on 159.120 77.0 PL repeater. Glassboro plows are on 151.370 167.9 PL repeater. Monroe Township in Gloucester County would be on 508.2375 85.4 PL repeater. Cherry Hill plows use the trunk system. Burlington County plows also use their digital trunk system. Same with Salem and Ocean Counties.

I look at West Oranges trunk system it shows 04-102 as a snow channel

That may be a mistake in the database, or perhaps outdated information. I live in WO and have never seen that talkgroup show up. All snow plowing operations are on 08-041 - the public works talkgroup. 04-102 doesn't even really make sense for a snow channel as '04' is the fire dept. talkgroup.

DOT low-band frequencies

Is the NJ State DOT only on the 47 MHz band or do they also use something else? I haven't been able to monitor them at all during the entire duration of the storm we just had and never confirmed hearing them yet. I live on a state street and I saw their plows around constantly, but never heard them on the 47 MHz low-band frequencies. I live in Union County, NJ. Any suggestions for monitoring them in the future?
