Sold a few radios just before Christmas and had to swap around my desks, thus I had to do some rearranging to my radios. Also, copying from another RR member, I made a minor "modification" to my Home Patrol-1 scanner. I think it looks much sexier with a black faceplate.

So, without further delay (and no more yapping on my part LOL), here is my new arrangement.....

From left to right...PSR-800, BC355C, Home Patrol-1, BCT15X

A somewhat out of focus closeup of the HP1 with a black faceplace

From left to right...PSR-310, BC125AT, Kaito KA1102 shortwave receiver, BC346XT, Midland GXT FRS/GMRS radios

My Yaesu FT-2800M mobile playing the part of a base

My handhelds, from left to right...UV-3R(x2), UV-5R, KG-UVD1P, UV-5RC (the 220 model), FDC-150A

Could you supply some information and any outside antennas, also any splitters and your opinion on them. Outside antenna height along with type? etc..

All of my antennas are indoors. I live in an apartment building and the ownership company doesn't take kindly to external antennas, unless you're using a dish. Otherwise, no go.

Using three mag mount antennas for the HP-1, 15X and PSR-800 or 355C (depending on what my listening needs are). In the pic, using a ducky on the 800. Using a J-pole, which sits in a corner of my living room, for the 2800M.

No splitters, and all antenna heights are less than six feet.

A nice collection of radios in that shack. The paint job on the HP-1 is great and gives it a whole different look.

Thanks for sharing.

I see you're into monitoring business traffic... Very cool!

Unfortunately we don't have much of that here, I think it's all cell service.

Perhaps, but it will be down the road a ways. Had the chance to get a BCD396XT at an incredible price, and even though I didn't really "need" it, I couldn't pass up the chance. Got to save up some $$$ over the next six months or so for the 536HP.

I'm in the process of moving, so when I get all settled in at my new place, I'll post an updated picture or two with my new 396 and also my new PRO-107.

:)
