Winter Storm 2022 SC Upstate

For those interested, I'm hearing SC National Guard units active today on talkgroup 27877. They're working to clear stranded vehicles from the Upstate interstate highways during this winter storm.

SCHP and SHEP are active on their normal Palmetto 800 channels. SC DOT plows are active on their low-band repeaters.

I have got TG's 44281 and 44282. Definitely Greenville county fire Tac channels. Hearing Slater-Marietta fire talking to MedCom on 44281 and Lake Cunningham on 44282. I have not heard any talkgroup ID's on them all day. My guess is just spare TG's for beautiful days like today.

They are out of Clinton and a new shift came on a hour or two ago, still crazy busy. Last I heard on the radio, Hwy 25 is shut down from the split at TR to the border. Impassable at the split and a multi vehicle crash including trucks. They can't keep up with the ice.
