I'm Jealous...we have gotten ZERO snow so far this season here in Jersey. There is nothing like sitting home while the snow is falling, listening to the scanner, watching TV, and having a nice fire going! Always good listening during a snow storm...especially around here, no one knows how to drive in the snow...not enough experience I guess...I bet its second nature to you folks in Colorado!

Diving in it for some of us is second nature, but we still have just as many problems and its not usually that people can't drive in it the ones who drive too fast for conditions and run people off the road. The radios get really active when it snows then gets dark and cold out.

Good Point...some people think that because they have a lil SUV with 4WD they can do 90 mph in the snow & ice, passing people & such. "they" seem to cause quite a few accidents.

As of 6 p.m. Sunday, westbound Interstate 70 is closed at Vail Pass “due to multiple accidents,” according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Colorado Highway 65 will remain closed between Powderhorn Resort and Cedaredge through sometime Monday, CDOT spokeswoman Nancy Shanks said. Powderhorn can still be accessed from the north.

Most major roads in southwest Colorado are closed or have been under chain restrictions throughout the day Sunday. Check www.cotrip.org for updated information or dial 511 from anywhere in Colorado for road information.
