According to Douglas Fire Dispatch there are reports of a funnel cloud west of I-25 south of Castle Rock

getting messy in the Fort Collins, Loveland area with a few slide offs and request for plows. I also noticed chain law for I-70 vail pass.

Closed to traffic because of snow conditions. Closed due to adverse conditions. Road closure began March 23rd, 2010 at 4:30pm. Alternate route is US 24 and CO 91.

Jeffco and Gilpin Counties just went on accident alert and NWS has upgraded the warning to 1-2ft for most foothill areas.

DFD just put the hold order in effect and DG went on weather destination.

I've never heard Denver Regional so busy in all my time listening. It's good traffic, though the District 6 dispatcher sounds frazzled and out of patience.

Lone Tree: South Metro requesting I-25 be closed south of Lincoln and CDOT refusing, CSP Command 1 now onscene requesting closure as well and reporting at least 30 vehicles stuck.
