High power wireless EV charging is expected to destroy MW AM band in the not too far future. Who would be surprised by this? Solar power systems going up these days are an attrocity to the noise floor for AM and HF users.
I can't imagine the harmonic trash that a high power wireless energy transfer scheme would generate. BIg money lobbying will likely win the battle and we will lose the AM MW and HF environments. SSB is a form of amplitude modulation and will likely suffer. Mitigation of harmonic output is the only salvation. Unbelievable.
