Wiring up a GPS18x LVC to 996xt DB9

I got my GPS18x LVC and I'm trying to figure out how to wire power to it. I assumed 12v would be fine when I bought it, but that is not the case. It requires a 4-5.5v input. Do any of the pins on the rear DB9 connector provide that voltage? In some notes I found on my previous GPS I was using, I have wrote done that pin 4 is power. I have pin 2 as data from GPS and pin 5 as ground. Thanks for any help on this!

The scanner's db9 port does not provide power.

When I had a similar setup I used an adapter I had laying around that was the right voltage. Failing that, I'd go to RadioShack and get an adapter.

Thanks. I just happen to have a Sirius radio adapter that supplies 5.2v.
