wisconsin rapids fire tac

does anyone know why you can not hear wisconsin rapids fire on there tac channal? i have every freq. for wood county in my bct15x and i had them in wofire but they went to a tac that i can not find anywhere even doing a search i cant find it. anyone know the deal

Have they gone digital/joined WISCOM?

If no, and no freq listed works at all, you always have "Close Call"

tried all that and seeing there where 2 blocks behind me this morning i should have picked something up

Well, with "Close Call" you have to be pretty close (Like parked across the street)

ok i think i got it now. they may have the tac channals set on vhf digital

Just checking did you find the Wi Rapids Fire Tac channel or not. If you did..what is it? Otherwise it *might* be 155.7600 in simplex mode (Which is the dispatch repeater).

nope never found it . and i checked that freq. and nothen on that one ether. i am going to talk to my chief and one of my ham buddy and i am sure ill get something then

Try this one 153.795.I heard them on this freq.one night.
