Wise County Sheriff

Has the Wise County Sheriff changed frequencies from the 158.805? I can get county fire but not the sheriff? Any ideas?

I remember driving through there late last year and didn't hear anything on 158.805. Decatur is supposed to be getting a P25 system. Maybe the SO is also using it. There are a lot of newly licensed frequencies for Wise Co and Decatur the past year or so. I don't know what they are using now.
Check some of these frequencies:

Wise County SO is still on 158.805, they can have periods of quiet, and their transmitter is not quite as powerful as the FD side.

I enter the frequencies Tom listed and Wise County SO And Fire still on their old Frequencies but I did find Decatur PD on 155.1825 P25 NAC 065 even though their license does not show a P25 Emisson.

I've been picking the new PD frequency up on my logging program for the past few weeks with an outside antenna from Sherman but I hadn't figured out which agency it was. Nice to know.

New License 4/24/13

Wise County has a new license. Looks like mostly existing frequencies but they all have what looks like P25 emission designators.
ULS License - Public Safety Pool, Conventional License - WQRD999 - WISE, COUNTY OF

Those are probably for the new EFJ System that is suppose to be coming online in the near future.
Keep an eye out in the next few months for the new system coming online. Beginning to install infrastructure soon. The Eastwise Fire Department frequency also has a pending App. that will also be used in the system, as EWFD has given up their Frequency to the County for use on the new system.

Just heard Wichita Falls DPS telling a trooper that Wise County changed frequencies and he will have to get his radio reprogrammed.

I've had these plugged in for some time without a peep. Perhaps some of these are in use. I am way out of range but I use to hear 158.805 analog all the way from Allen.

Same Frequency, 158.8050 The input PL code has changed and the location of the repeater has changed.
Not exactly sure where it is at now

week long and only found 8 frequencies active from the list.

Decatur Police was using 155.1825 but I only found Decatur Fire
using it and Decatur Police now on 155.8050 both in P25 mode.
