WMwifi?

I just picked up an HTC touch diamond through sprint yesterday(got a really sweet deal with credits and discounts I had). Anyways I was wondering if anyone has used a program like WMwifi or walking hotspot on any windows mobile wifi capable devices. I'm trying to find a freeware version of something that will turn my phone into an access point but haven't found anything. How well does it work, what kind of battery life do you get, how are the speeds?
