Wolfe City Incident Interoperability

Just hearing Honey Grove Police on Fannin County (154.7250 293 NAC) Telling Fannin they were monitoring the Wolfe City situation via Collin Counties radio system. That Honey Grove was patched in. Honey Grove PD does not have a repeater of its own AND is a good distance from Blue Ridge or Farmersville the two closest sites to Fannin County. So the obvious question would be How are they doing this?

Just a wag .... 4.9 GHZ WIFI; Collin County's shows coverage in all adjacent counties. Another possibility is an internet link. I've been monitoring Collin's analog and new digital system and haven't heard much there. I guess another possibility is the NCTCOG system Collin site via a network link.

Apparently he was linked in via FirstNet. That is an animal beyond my understanding.
