If anyone lives in Wood County maybe they could help me out with a question too. From time to time it seems like the dispatcher will change radios... sometimes she will hit the repeater and sometimes she won't. Also, does anyone know what Signal 100 and Signal 200 mean? Thanks.

Maybe she's grabbing a portable and making a pit stop... I'd hate to think that they'd want to be as specific on the air as to designate different signal codes to designate the state of matter of the issue at hand... but maybe that's what that means.

I'm going to take a stab, and say that 100 is a restroom break, and 200 may be away from the console??? Both times using a portable, so she can stay in touch.

Gotcha! Another thing... I'm confused on the small depts. dispatched on 155.07... sometimes I hear them dispatch to places like Luckey other times it's the W Units... does Luckey have a PD? Thanks! I'm sure not too many wood countyers have accounts on here!

In some small towns the PD's are only part-time, so at certain times, the village is covered by their PD's officers, and at others, the SO covers them.

Also, in many places such as these, the deputies serve as backup to the village officers... if calls get stacked up, the deputies may be dispatched as primary officers to the extra calls.
