Were you monitoring them on the old primary of 453.225? That means they might have shut off the simulcast from the TRS, and you'll need a digital trunking scanner to hear then...
I can confirm that they did indeed have the simulcast from the Digital TRS to analog UHF OFF at some point recently; however, it's back up and running at this time. I would keep the analog scanner for now if it's just the PD you want to monitor. They need to keep that patch in place for Edison and other agencies to cross communicate (interoperate), which they have already. But you may want to put some extra $$ aside and save up to buy newer equipment at a future date...![]()
Yep, it's back up. FWIW, they don't "need" to have the patch up. Like many other towns do they could use the Hotline, but I'm glad the patch is up. It's nice to know what's going on in your own darn town.
