I heard that Woodbridge is going to be on the new system (trunked) By the beginning of 2010...Is this true, They dont have any updates on the Database as to control cahnnels and all.

They have the new portable radios in use already (in Conventional mode with the old channels), however my contacts have told me that they are not sure when the TRS will be up and running (and they work for Station 7).

Only colonia and avenel fire have SOME digital radios. I know Rescue 12 has them and the cheifs but the other trucks dont. None of the EMS organizations have them and not all of the police officers have the portables yet either alot of cops have HT1000's Still

+1 on Devils4121 post. There's only a handful of new radios in use. I haven't seen anyone in the 40 or traffic with new radios yet.
