I am michael in independence KY.

I programmed my WS1040 with the edit500 program to listen to police, ems, and fire in boone and kenton counties.
I can hear one fire dispatch, but that's all.
Can someone help?

I am a premium member, and i keep posting calls for help, but they keep being removed from the forum.

Any help would be great.

Kenton, Boone, and Campbell counties are all using a new P25 Phase 2 system which is simulcast. Your hearing the analog fire net frequency which they still use for dispatching only. Kenton and Boone Law Dispatch channels are unencrypted and all tactical operations are encrypted. All Campbell county law channels are encrypted. You need a Phase II capable scanner that can handle simulcast like an SDS or Unication Pager.
