Hi, im in Columbus ohio and i downloaded from win 500 the channels i wanted to my scanner. which was zone 3 dispatch, Columbus fire and sheriff, but im not getting everything and its not coming in that clear. when i was in the win 500 program i got the system frequency but i didn't choose nothing from the trunking tables. i went through it and seen p-25 700 MHz, 800 MHz and 900 MHz. So i was wondering if i chose the p25 800 MHz would that make the channels come in better and clearer. Thanks

So you're getting some traffic but its not good quality? You may have chosen sites that are too far away from you.

I'm not familiar with Win500 but did you pick the new MARCS-IP system? Did you add them to a scan list that is active and choose that scanlist?

Were you using a recent copy of the RR database in Win500? I'd review this:

Try unchecking AGC on the Columbus system. Previous to doing this my PRO-106 was next to useless. After unchecking AGC, the receive was vastly better.
