WS1065 Discontinued?

WS1065 Discontinued?

I went to buy a new WS1065 today after I had one fail... I looked at a dozen or more websites and no one had a new one for sale. Even the Whilister website showed they were out of stock.

Ok... I guess I missed that Whistler had went out of business and now has reopened. Hopefully they will be building these again soon.

If they are not available anymore, what scanner can I buy that is compatible with the same programming and size? I run several of these scanners, both in the house and in my trucks. Or is it time to upgrade?

New owners just took over.They need time to manufacture them and get them in stock.

Whistler was bought by Goliad Products. They are in the process of getting production up and running again. The Whistler Group

Pretty sure they stopped manufacturing the WS1065 years ago...
